Netflix has a knack of surprising its users with new features, and this time around, the company has launched a greeting card, which is going to show users about the details of episodes or seasons that they have watched. This feature is very handy for those who are binge-watchers and don’t move out of their seats when they begin to watch a series.
Many Netflix users often watch the entire series at once. Knowing this practice and the taste of its subscribers for marathons, the streaming service for movies and series has released a feature to create personalized greeting cards that show how many episodes or seasons you watched, with whom, where and how.
Once created, the card can be shared on Facebook, Twitter, emailed or simply saved as a JPEG image on your PC. Check out how to make the personalized card and enjoy to brag about their marathons without leaving the sofa and with a lot of popcorn.
This is one of those features that Netflix has brought to its platform after receiving feedbacks from its users. It is going to provide a lot of convenience to the users because they don’t have to open each episode in order to find where they have left off. Netflix will provide details of the same, thus helping users get back to their favorite series in a matter of a few seconds.
Now, if you want to know how to make use of this feature, then the process has been explained in detail below. Just go through the steps and you will be able to enjoy the feature in the discussion.
Step 1. Go to the Binge Cards Netflix website (bingecards.netflix.com) and click on one of the available series.
Step 2. Tell who you watched this series with. If you watched it yourself, choose “Single”. If you watched with one more person, choose “Couple” and, finally, if you saw the group series, choose “Group”. Then just enter your name or group name and click “Next”.
Step 3. Now let us know how many episodes you watched and from which season. In “Seasons” you choose the season and in “Episodes” the number of episodes. Click “Next” again.
Step 4. Tell how you watched the series by choosing one of the options provided by the site, such as “On the couch” (on the couch); “While on vacation” or other. Then just click “Share” to share the card on social networks.
Step 5. Choose how and where you want to share: Facebook, Twitter, email or save the image to your PC.
Ready! It is worth mentioning that each series has a different card layout and, for now, the feature is only available in English and with some original Netflix series, such as House of Cards, Narcos, and Orange is the New Black. The trend is for more series to be added. Stay tuned for more information from the company as this feature is going to spread like a wildfire in the near future.
